Belonging & opportunity
Ask which courses, learning materials and supports are available, who can use them and how students describe the experience. Enrollment alone does not tell the whole story.
Education
Learning, opportunity and the conditions young people need to thrive.

A question worth asking
An education question becomes more useful when it names a learner, a transition and an institution. Access may mean a welcoming classroom, an available course, stable school enrollment or the support to complete a degree. Choose the point where a person is being asked to navigate the system alone.

Follow the handoffs between a school, a college and a financial-aid office. Separate information about a program from a current offer of support.
For a learner experiencing a change in home or school, identify the person responsible for records, enrollment and follow-through. Keep identifiable student records out of public advocacy.
