A question worth asking

Build for the task a person actually needs to finish.

A connection, device or account only becomes useful when it helps someone complete a real task. Follow the practical journey: finding trustworthy information, accessing a service, learning a skill or protecting personal data. The goal is not more software for its own sake. It is less friction and more control.

Connectivity & devices

Distinguish broadband availability from household adoption, affordability and actual experience. Read provider-reported coverage and household surveys as different kinds of evidence.

Skills & participation

Look for learning environments with clear audiences and expectations. Support with one application or device may be as important as a formal training pathway.

Privacy & agency

Ask what information a tool truly needs, who can access it and what happens when someone wants to leave. Do not treat convenience as permission to collect sensitive data.

People before categories

The context belongs with the person.

Numbers help frame a question. Community knowledge helps you ask it responsibly. Neither should be separated from its source or presented as the entire story.

What a source-linked record does—and does not—mean

Source text supports the summary. Editorial approval, legal or tax status, service availability and confirmation by the organization are separate checks. Directory inclusion does not establish a partnership or endorsement. Read the review standard

From understanding to a useful ask

Before you act

Name the practical question

Which repeated task is difficult today, and what is the smallest safe improvement that would help?

Identify the responsible office

An office or institution is a more useful starting point than an assumed officeholder. Check the official source and the relevant jurisdiction.

Carry the source forward

Keep the original source link, the review date and the limitation beside your evidence. Edit the draft in your own words before sharing it.

Keep the connections you find.

An account lets you save public resources and private drafts on the computer running this local application.
